Our Focus on Sustainability
At Pacific Lumber & Shipping, we believe in sustainability. It's a guiding principle for us, as well as all of the Port Blakely Companies.
We embrace all aspects of forest certification, and support landowners who have achieved Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), Sustainable Forestry initiative (SFI), and American Tree Farm System (ATFS) certification of their timberlands. We maintain rigorous audit procedures and Chain of Custody (CoC) certification. We're proud to offer CoC certification under SFI and PEFC. We also offer FSC Pure and FSC Mixed Credit certification and FSC Controlled forest products.
