Court Stanley

Court Stanley brings over 25 years of forestry experience to his
role as President of Port Blakely Tree Farms. Utilizing his BS degree in Forest Engineering from University of Washington, he worked with Murray Pacific Corporation as a forest engineer and later with Goldbelt, a Native American corporation, where he was stationed at a logging camp in Southeast Alaska. Court joined Port Blakely in 1985 as a forester and had progressed to the positions of Chief Forester, Vice-President and Senior Vice-President before being promoted in August, 2006, to his current role as President of Port Blakely Tree Farms, overseeing all of the company's forestry holdings. He is a board member of the Washington Forest Protection Association, serving as committee chair for its Forest Policy Committee. He is also a board member of the Washington Agriculture and Forestry Education Foundation and a graduate of their leadership program. He has been a member of the Society of American foresters since 1983. |
