Good Neighbors

AB Tree Farms / Good Neighbors / goodneighbors

Giving back is a priority for us.  We demonstrate our commitment to giving back to the communities in which we operate through financial contributions, as well as in-kind work, as was the case after the December 2007 storms in Lewis County.  In the days following the flood, Port Blakely employees delivered food and clean drinking water to areas hit hardest by the flood. We used our fire trucks to hose mud and debris from schools, homes and driveways. We spread over 1,400 tons of rock for driveways and home sites. We worked side by side with countless other volunteers to get families back into functional and safe homes.

Our commitment to local communities is a source of pride for us at Port Blakely Tree Farms. In 2007, we supported several organizations in Washington and Oregon that truly make a positive difference to the communities they touch. Among the many organizations we supported in 2007 are the following:

  • Washington Agriculture and Forestry Education Foundation
  • United Way of Lewis County
  • Centralia Providence Health Care Foundation
  • Make-A-Wish Foundation
  • Hands On Children's Museum
  • World Forestry Center
  • Little Red Schoolhouse
  • South Puget Sound Community College Foundation
  • Eastern Lewis County Hospital Foundation
  • Washington Wildlife and Recreation Coalition
  • Cascade Land Conservancy
