Since its inception, Port Blakely Communities has created some of the most distinctive and innovative mixed-use communities in the Pacific Northwest.
Back in the early 1990s, Port Blakely Tree Farms bought the Glacier Park Company's residential real estate portfolio in King County, Washington. As a result of that transaction, Port Blakely Tree Farms formed a real estate subsidiary, Port Blakely Communities, Inc.
Our first effort became the award-winning Issaquah Highlands community, an urban village with 3,250 homes that will ultimately become a city unto itself. Its innovative design, smart-growth philosophy, and cutting-edge environmental safeguards make Issaquah Highlands both a measuring stick for us and the standard for others to follow.
