Port Blakely Companies has been a family-owned business for more than a century. We're also a close-knit family of four distinct businesses: Port Blakely Tree Farms, L.P., Port Blakely Communities, Blakely Pacific, Ltd. and Pacific Lumber & Shipping, LLC. Though each company is separate, we all share a common set of values: integrity, respect, quality, innovation, and environmental stewardship.
A long-term philosophy.
At Port Blakely Companies, we take the long view. This philosophy grew out of our beginnings in forestry, where time is measured not in months or years but in decades and centuries.
We're always looking for long-term value, so we invest when shorter-term companies might not. We believe in keeping our word and treating people with respect because that's the best way to create enduring business relationships. We know the sustainability we practice means more than just balancing timber harvests and growth rates; it means operating in a way that sustains our society, our environment, and our business.
